The purpose of this blog is to highlight the databases that are being surfaced by the American Library Association Government Documents Roundtable’s State and Local Documents Task Force 50-State Agency Database Registry project at http://wikis.ala.org/godort/index.php/State_Agency_Databases.
Each day we’ll visit a new state and a new database. What is a database? Check out the definition on the project page. We’ll keep visiting a database a day until we run out of databases. At the rate this project is going, that won’t be for quite awhile because America’s 50 states are churning out a lot of resources!
While the Registry is an official GODORT SLDTF project, this blog is not. It’s just an unofficial sharing of the many resources being brought to light by librarians around the country!
