SDOTD 7/21/2007 – GA: Government Publications Database

Today’s State Database of the Day comes from Georgia:

Georgia Government Publications (full-text state documents) – From the website, ” This database contains over 30,000 publications of agencies within the Georgia state government, covering years 1994 to the present. Types of materials included are annual reports, budget documents, periodicals, maps, posters, and videos.”

Georgia has one of the most impressive collections of digital state documents in the country. This database gives you access to them in a number of different ways including place of publication, keywords, subject, even words from the Table of Contents. The database also allows you to limit to annual reports or periodical (magazine/journal) issues, which can be very handy.
