Recreational Facilities
The city owns and operates a $3 million “Aquatic Park”, a state of the art recreation facility, nine public parks including a skateboard park, two 18-hole golf courses, three public gyms and an 80-acre youth sports complex. Feaster Trail, designated as a national trail by the U.S. Department of Interior and the Arkansas State Parks Department, is an asphalt municipal walking, jogging, or biking trail running about 2 and 7/10 miles across the city. The universities have indoor Olympic pools, river tubing, kayaking and canoeing.
