TN: Volunteer Voices

by

From photographs of President Jackson’s slave Alfred to the leters on the expected demise of Rugby, TN to flyers documenting environmental activism in the 1970s, today’s State Agency Database Highlight has something for you:

Volunteer Voices – a state-wide digitization project that will provide access to primary sources that document Tennessee’s rich history and culture. Volunteer Voices combines the collaborative efforts to Tennessee archives, historical societies, libraries, museums, and schools. Some of the material is licensed through Creative Commons.

The Tennessee page of State Agency Databases Across the Fifty States is maintained by James Staub.
