SC: Safe Eats

March 23, 2009

Does your favorite South Carolina restaurant keep clean? How about the sanitation at your child’s school? Or the prison that cousin Jim has been locked up in? With today’s State Agency Database Highlight, you can check how a food server stacks up against state health standards:

Restaurant Inspection Scores Search by restaurant name or street name in a city to find current regular (unannounced) or followup inspection scores.

Results include date of latest inspection.

South Carolina: School Directory

December 14, 2007

Today’s State Agency Database highlight is from South Carolina:

School Directory – gives information on locating schools of all levels in a city, district, or county. The “LookUp Tool” allows one to choose a district and then decide on the type of information desired, such as school address, district information, or district staff. There are also links for a printable directory in pdf, for lists of private schools and for homeschool organizations, and educational organizations.

September 19, 2007

Today’s State Database of the Day comes to us from South Carolina:

WEBLION is the catalog for the Library holdings. To limit a search to SC State Documents, select that Collection. There is also a choice to limit to the electronic state documents. For these SCEdocs, the Item record will include the URL for the copy saved to the library server and a link to the agency website, if possible.
